Oct. 25: Franklin Downtown Pumpkinfest 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free street festival featuring trick-or-treating, arts/crafts vendors, Franklin Tomorrow Chili Cook-off, Sister Cities All Things Pumpkin, People’s Church Kids Zone, costume contest and live music.

It’s time for Pumpkin Farms!

In the Franklin area, there are two great pumpkin farms to choose from.  Here are the details:

Gentry Farm

When: 9am-5pm Saturdays and 1-5pm Sundays from Sept. 27-Oct.25

Where: 1970 Highway 96, Franklin

Fall activities:  It’s a kid-centric harvest of events, which includes an activity area, hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals and concessions.  You can pick your own pumpkin from the field.

Cost:  $6 per person ages 2 and older for the activity area.  Pumpkins extra.

Walden Farm

When: Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. 3:00pm – Dark . Closed on Wednesday.
Sat. 9:00am – dark – and Sun. – 12:00 – 4:00 pm.

Fall activities:  Come pick out your pumpkin, go on a hay ride, see the farm
animals, have fun in our play area and enjoy the harvest fun!

Cost: Free (there is a charge for hay rides)

Free Museum Day!

Fireproof

A great new movie is opening next weekend (September 26-27) all over Nashville and Franklin.  It is from the creators of “Facing the Giants” and stars Kirk Cameron.  The movie is about saving a marriage.  This would be a great date night for your Moms Together group!

Free Movie Night for Your Family!

Blockbuster is running a 20th Anniversary special for Middle Tennessee stores.  You can rent any “Movie in the Middle” for free during the month of September.  Choose from thousands of your favorite Movies in the Middle!

Here is the fine print:
